Miss PG Roy made me feel extremely comfortable during the consultation. The consultation and examination was extremely thorough and all of my questions were answered. Miss Roy made me feel very relaxed and she was very professional and reassuring. The speed of the service I received was brilliant and within 1 week I had my consultation and ultrasound. My appointment with Ms. Roy was made with efficiency upon my request. This was the first time I met the consultant and from the first moment the meeting was cordial, professional and completely reassuring. I found Ms. Roy inspired confidence and that both her evaluation and her subsequent recommendations were clear, timely and sufficient for the medical question I had come about. Should there be further need for me to use this consultant, I would be confident that all would proceed in the best possible manner.

My daughter saw Miss Roy for breast reduction surgery. Miss Roy was empathetic, careful, and very clear about the procedure. As a relative, I consistently felt welcomed and supported. I was very impressed by Miss Roy’s approach. My daughter is now almost four weeks post-surgery and all is going well. A really great result. Many thanks.

Profile
Prof Roy is a Consultant Oncoplastic and Reconstructive Breast Surgeon in Oxford since 2011. She has been promoted as Associate Professor with University of Oxford in 2021. She only performs breast surgery and offers all aspects including breast cancer surgery, reconstruction surgery and cosmetic surgery.
She graduated from University of Delhi, India and underwent higher surgical training at Oxford. She was selected for prestigious National Oncoplastic Fellowship at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust in 2009 and did a higher degree in research in breast cancer from University of Dundee. Since her appointment, she has set up a successful Oncoplastic breast service at OUH trust. She is a very dedicated clinician and offers compassionate consultations and individualized expert advice and opinion for breast problems. Her specialist interest includes surgical management of breast cancer whilst ensuring an optimum aesthetic outcome by offering specialist techniques such as mammaplasty and partial breast reconstruction. She offers immediate breast reconstruction with implants and flaps for patients undergoing mastectomy for breast cancer. She also offers correction of breast deformities and/or breast asymmetry to patients having undergone breast cancer surgery in the past.
She leads the Oncoplastic breast surgery service at Oxford University Hospitals and runs an educational course (OOPS) to facilitate the teaching and training of oncoplastic breast surgery. She is a faculty member for breast surgery courses organized by Royal College Surgeons of England (RCSEng).
Miss Roy ensures that all consultations and surgical planning sessions take place in a confidential and supportive environment with due emphasis on expectations and outcomes.
